Fort Frederica at St. Simon's Island in Georgia

The ruins at Fort Frederica on St. Simon's Island in Georgia are from a colonial era fort that played a significant role in the Civil War, as well as a point of defense from Spanish attacks.
This is a great National park site, you should visit if you can.

The trees are covered with spanish moss unlike anywhere I have ever seen. It's amazing!

Walking down this "street" is like taking a walk back in time.

On Friday night, Nov. 4th, 2011, we had a wonderful time at the Broad Street Cafe in Durham, North Carolina.
We were entertained by musical groups "The String Peddlers" and "Mebanesville".
